Trista KimberDirector of Training and Design
Trista has been in the restaurant industry for 17 years with over a decade of experience in a corporate training capacity. Her efforts have resulted in on-line and paper-based training courses, manuals and tests, training DVDs, system processes and training curriculum for both management and hourly employees.
In a partnership with the National Restaurant Association, she has provided advisement and feedback on the ServSafe Alcohol eLearning course updates.
Trista holds a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University. She is a Certified Situational Leadership® Instruction, Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT), a member of the Counsel of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART) where she has served as a Volunteer, Mentor, Conference Director and has coordinated Regional Training Forums. Through this organization, she is certified in the Instructional Design Track, Project Management, and Coaching and Development. She holds certifications with the National Restaurant Association in the ServSafe Food Safety and ServSafe Alcohol Programs, where she is a certified program registrar, proctor, and instructor. Through her initiatives with the NRA, Hooters was awarded the Best Responsible Alcohol Service Program at the 2010 and 2015 VIBE Vista Awards.
